[That same day, Rey will find a drawing of Rohan'smotorcycle. The only color he has added to the drawing is a rough and hazy smattering of blue. Otherwise, it remains a black and white sketch. Rohan doesn't leave it rolled up, however. It's carefully tucked away inside a folder outside Rey's door.]
[It's not a thank you. It's not a gift. It's simply an exchange. And don't read into anything about him keeping the drawing of the Falcon somewhere safe. Heck off.]
[She didn't really expect something in return when her gift was, in her opinion, the return gift. So now he might have started something because the next day a new carefully rolled up picture is waiting for Rohan.
This one is of Chewbacca in all his hairy glory, and she'd taken the time to color it in with a few different shades of brown to really get across just how luxurious his fur is. She misses him, the feeling of a heavy paw resting comfortingly on her shoulder.
Beside Chewbacca she does a quick sketch of BB-8 with less detail, but there is a bit of orange to highlight the different parts of him to show she's still actually trying to draw well.
And now Rohan has a picture of two of her closest friends.]
[There's nothing from Rohan the next day. Or the day after that. Although he's accepted the return gift, it likely seems as though he's finished with the exchange at this point. Perhaps he's grown bored with it or maybe he's found other things to do with his time. But on that third day, there is something waiting for her outside.]
[It's of a boy and a girl. They're no older than 15 or 16 by their looks, wearing Japanese school uniforms. The girl is taller than the boy and she looks almost a little lanky even with her arm somewhat possessively wrapped around the boy. The look in her eyes is cool she looks ahead, and her hair seems almost alive with the way it seems to be caught in an unnatural movement. The boy is balancing on one foot as he's in he process of being pulled towards her, his grin sheepish as he looks up at the girl. There's nothing insincere about the boy's expression though. Even with as strong as the girl's presence is, that's all his focus is on and it's not afraid. It's most certainly love. He's written their names in Japanese at their feet.]
[It's Rohan's best friend and his girlfriend, Hirose Koichi and Yamagishi Yukako.]
[The last picture immediately takes the place of her favorite the moment she sees it. The others have been carefully tucked away into a secret compartment on the ship along with Han Solo's blaster, but this one she keeps out, displayed in a more private area of the ship that visitors won't go to, but that she often does for a little quiet when she needs it.
The words at the bottom are an issue, though, so instead of starting on a picture she gets her communicator out and sets to textin'.]
